Wako Shuji was born in 1953 in Sendai, Japan. In 1977 he graduated from Zokei University in Tokyo. 

 

The artist has made himself a name with lithograph prints of Japanese-related small objects that he shows in photo-realistic, meticulous excellence, often against a black or blue background.
