Thavorn Ko-Udomvit was born in 1956 in Bangkok, Thailand, MFA from Silpakorn University.

 

Thavorn Ko-Udomvit‘s works are influenced by the origin of papermaking, tribal colours and imagery. A triangle in gold leaf reveals Thai tradition and layers of rich texture represents ritual and history.

 

He has always been in search of his Chinese identity in the context of Thai culture.
