Marjorie Chu was born in 1940, Singapore.

 

Marjorie has been an art dealer and gallery owner since 1971.

 

She organised field trips with artists to Ubud, Bali; Outback Australia (camping); Yunnan, China; the desert towns of Rajasthan, India; Glenlivet, Scotland; Xinjiang, China; and Umbria, Italy.   It was during those trips and her interaction with artists that she learnt to record colours and sensation of the places she visited.
