Li Chunhua

Li Chunhua, a Chinese contemporary artist, was born in Beijing, China, graduated from Beijing Arts and Craft School and obtained Master’s degree from National Aichi University of Education, Japan, and PhD from Tokyo University of the Arts, Japan.

 

Li’s ‘Landscape of Four-characters’ is his concept of 4 x 4 visual landscape. In Li’s world squares symbolise ‘textual meaning’ and regularity.
