Ding Yifan is a master in Taichi and thus a keen observer of human balance and movement. In his ink illustrations, Ding ‘creates’ all poses that a human figure is capable of, with added humour in the captions to describe the situation.

His human figures can be found ‘hidden’ in abstract spaces, especially when he paints on canvas; within the crevasses created by his brush stroke, look for human or animal shapes and figures.
