Den Warnjing was born in 1967 in the ancient capital of Ayutthaya, Thailand.

Den Warnjing has always been interested in Thai rural way of life. And he chose to express this in his MFA dissertation via series of paintings- The Jatakas Tales

To prepare for the thesis, Den Warnjing made numerous studies of Thai village life; included were plants, animals and peasant folks.
