Chris Yap was born in 1969 in Singapore. He is a noted fine art photographer.
He pursues photography to know what makes this technique an art image at the top of its class. He believes an art image is created from numerous process of lighting, composition, concept and print technique.
Chris first captures the image on camera and submits it to a method of printing using very fine inkjet technique that sprays up to 12 different colours onto high quality paper or linen. This method is known as Giclée.
Chris’ acute sense of judgement in print technique is very much sought after by artists and photographer worldwide. Chris is able to visualise the intented finished image that is captured on camera and it one step forward to print on paper.
Chris’ photoraphic creation never fails to give a sensation of tactality and drama.
