Cheung Yee was born 1936 in Guangzhou, China; died 2019 in California, USA
Graduated Fine Art Department, Taiwan Normal University in 1958. He was a professor of the Fine Arts Department at the Chinese University of Hong Kong until July 1998. He is the only artist in the history of Hong Kong who has been invited to conduct three solo exhibitions in the prestigious Hong Kong Museum of Art.
He received MBE by Queen Elizabeth ll in 1979.
