Tran Trung Thanh was born in 1978 in Hanoi, Vietnam.

2003 graduated from Art University, Vietnam 

 

2000 awarded Philip Morris art contest and ASEAN Art Competition. 

2001 Prizewinner of “Eyes on the World” of Nokia Pacific, 

2005 Prizewinner of Art contest at French Embassy in Hanoi with scholarship to France.

 

There was an era in the late 20th C in China and S.E. Asia when artists showed concern about the materialistic society. They live in and painted works expressing the desire to return to simplicity. 

 

This is the message in Tran Trung Thanh’s painting when he wishes to be free of materialistic surroundings.
