Do Son was born in 1943 in Bac Ninh Province, Vietnam.

His works are in the collection of Vietnamese Art Museum, National Gallery of Singapore and corporations in USA, Singapore, Australia, Malaysia and Morocco.

Do Son’s works represents his freedom of expression of the period in Vietnam after the French occupation. For the first time he could paint the lifestyle of his village folks and their way of live in his primitive style.
