Andy Yang

Singapore

Born in Malaysia in 1973 is a visual artist working and living in Singapore.Andy works best with the rhythm of music and inspiration of colours in nature.

When Andy paints, he does not forcefully apply acrylic and oil onto the canvases. Instead, he ‘blows’ on the acrylic to encourage the colours to be distributed onto the canvas. One could consider this method as control and chaos.

No matter what method Andy uses to paints, the basic inspiration comes from the vitality of nature that inspires his energy.
