Leung Kui Ting was born 1945 in Hong Kong, China, he studied painting under Liu Shou Kwan in 1964, the inspiration of contemporary Chinese ink painting. Leung Kui Teng is also a sculptor, as sculpture is part of the discipline of contemporary art.

1974-1990      Leung was a part-time lecturer at Hong Kong Polytechnic. 

1980-1994      Principal of Academic Affairs for Hong Kong and Chingying Institute of Visual Arts. 

1994-present  Adviser of Hong Kong Museum of Art, and Director of Hong Kong Chingying Institute of Visual Arts.
